The Comprehensive Peace Agreement

The Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) is a collection of settlements signed between the Government of Sudan (GoS) and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement/Army (SPLM/A) in resolution of the country's civil conflict. The CPA binds the two parties into a partnership known as the Government of National Unity and governs the rebuilding of a united, New Sudan.
